DISCLAIMER - This journal consists of entries based on my personal opinion that have been formed by my own experiences up until the point in time that they were were written. On average about half of the entries are 'friends only', if you want to be able to read them just add me & I'll add you back. I am always interested in hearing the perspectives and experiences of others, and I reserve the right to change or alter my opinion at any time as my own perspective widens.

This journal has no consistent theme, I write about whatever strikes me at the moment. It's a compilation of hilarious anecdotes & annoyances, thoughtful philosophies, artwork & current projects, self discovery, meaningless polls, and the occasional meme.

I have many interests, Jack of all trades / master of none. Family is very important to me, and I have been blessed with three amazing children and a wonderful supportive husband. I need to create and to learn new things, but I have yet to find the one thing I'd like to perfect. Writing, drawing, and design are some of my major passions, and Astrology is my current obsession. I tend to be a little cryptic at times, my Scorpio Sun likes to keep an air of mystery, and my inner critic is ruthless.

I don't expect everyone to share my beliefs, in fact, I encourage you to challenge them. I do however, expect a certain degree of respect in a discussion, to all of the participants, no matter what they believe, as long as you can do that, we'll get along fine. Don't be afraid to speak your mind! It's extremely difficult to offend me, if you are toeing the line, I will let you know.




Friending Policy

No need to ask, no application, no interview, go ahead and do it. I promise you won't be disappointed unless you are a narrow-minded troll with no sense of humor. I'm sure I'll add you back after I check out your journal.

If I have dropped you from my list (which is a rare occurrence since I'm loyal to a fault) chances are, you're an LJ celebrity who has lost my interest. I don't expect to be added just because I have added you, but if I have added you because you're entertaining, and you cease to entertain, I find a new source of entertainment. Sound fair?

On Commenting

I read a lot and I comment when I have time, or when I have something to say on the topic; sometimes I drop a comment just to let you know I'm still here, but I don't comment on every entry. One last thing you should know, while I'm excessively active on Live Journal, I'm not into long/frequent IM chats, I do have a life outside of this box! Shocking! I know.
