Somehow I've managed to procrastinate away 2 whole days this week, no writing done, no bread made, nothing. The bread I'll do tomorrow, as it turned out I had to go to autopac this morning to get an estimate for a claim instead. $1600 worth of damage done to our poor van, and it wasn't Roman this time... it was me. My first ever accident, don't worry, no one was hurt, except for the van with her headlight dangling by wires... and the street light was slightly dented too.

I'm never going to live that one down. Now when I drive with Roman he says, "Oh, I'd better drive carefully, there's a lot of street lights lurking around, one might jump out at me." *sigh* Another reason that I don't like to drive.

No laughing at me, if you want to laugh make a smart ass comment so I can laugh too. Laughing at me is just rude. ;)

Today I'm in danger of pissing away my evening trying to find out what Criss Angel's birth data is so I can look up his natal chart. I got stuck in front of the TV this afternoon watching Mindfreak, so I didn't get anything done. Now I'm very curious about just what goes into the pot to make up such a person, and all I've managed to gather for sure is he's a Sagittarius which doesn't explain much at all. It doesn't even explain the mysteriousness & secrecy, or why it's so hard to find accurate birth data... that's more of a Scorpio/Pluto or maybe Neptune thing, Sag's are known for being blunt & brutally honest.

Ok enough blather, I'm going to go be productive somewhere. BTW, it looks like the jiggly buns (so wrong lol) icon is the winner by a landslide, thanks for voting :D *points to new icon* I did this one last night too.

The person who asked me to make this card, said that it is so accurate he's going to think I got the information from her instead of his birth chart.

I'm still working on my astrology cards and here... I've started some general sun sign ones for the craft sale this weekend. My family has been bugging me to produce more stuff even though I still have dreamcatchers & candles, and my grandmother is sure to stack the table with 50 billion hats again anyway. It's going to be a weekend of madness! My sister has 3 gorgeous pieces in the 'Art from the heart' art show so we'll have to make some time for that, and it's my daughters & my neices birthdays too, we're going to take them to Harry Potter, yay :)

This is the first one I've done for someone that's not family. I put the images I'm using for the front and back of the card under a cut. The cards are 8.89cm x 5.08 cm, about the size of a business card, and laminated. The biggest challenge with this one is that I did it for a person I don't know that well, so I can't verify what I see in the chart to my own experience of that person as much. Hopefully it works for him, the interpretation is super short but it says a whole lot more than 'you are a libra'. I might do some general sun sign cards up for the craft sale next weekend, but the chart ones are far more interesting, and definitely more accurate.

9 1/2" x 11" natal chart with aspect grid. 9 1/2" x 11" Chart with no aspect lines that I'm going to use with a dry erase marker to single out things. The cards are really pretty, and a handy reference too. I did a little mini interpretation of the Sun, Moon & Rising signs for the backs.

So you can guess what I've been busy with :) *loves her laminating machine*

What have you all been busy with? Where is everyone?

The Sabian Symbols presentation by Blain Bovee on Saturday was quite interesting. Although a likeable enough character, very Taurus, he lacked a certain compelling quality as a speaker, and he had a tendency to ramble off on the origin of words. I got him to sign my book anyway, if for no other reason than his awesome hat! The Astrology Association took him out for dinner & drinks after the presentation that ran almost an hour late! I'm sorry [info]bluejupiter that's why I didn't make it to your social! I heard the stand ins had a fantastic time though, I was only there long enough to pick them up :)

Totally random fact, Partylite makes candles in a scent called 'Discover'. I am obsessed with that fragrance! Ginger and vanilla spiked in incense, myrrh and just a hint of sandalwood, but they only have 2 size/shapes available. I wish I could find some body spray or shower gel that smells that good.

Another plug, please take a sec to go fill out my poll... Until you're on it I'm going to have to assume you haven't seen it. You don't have to add the info if you don't want, just click the box & submit so I know you've seen the poll and are choosing not to fill it out :)
