I don't celebrate Valentines day in the traditional sense, and this year's no exception. Happy birthday to my little sis' - 30 years! I'll have to work through most of the party but at least it will be here so I won't miss it all.

Also a big happy birthday to jazzgoddess and dea_aniada & to adizzi tomorrow :D

I feel very spoiled & loved. It's so wonderful to have love in my life, not the kind of starry eyed puppy love that's wrapped in glamour, but real, unconditional love. It has changed me, it has evolved me, it has helped me learn to love myself. It is truly the greatest gift of all.

We celebrated my birthday yesterday because I'm stuck at work tonight... ahh well, it won't be that bad as long as it's not too busy. Between playing with my new laminating machine *g*, and reading my friends list it should be a pretty entertaining shift. There should be enough calls to keep me from laminating everything in my office ;)

We had a pizza making night, bought a new van from my moms cousin for $500 (needs work but it runs), my mom brought me some new clothes & a new winter jacket, my sister made me an amazing bead pendant of the glyph for Pluto with the symbol for Scorpio in the circle (I'll have to post pics of this later), my mother in law gave me this gorgeous candle centerpiece...

Roman really wanted to get me tickets to see Dracula, at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet but it ended October 22, and I told him I didn't want to go into debt just to see a ballet. I'll try for next year, the dress rehearsal tickets are more affordable & it's just as good :) It was a sweet thought.

Oh! One more thing, I tried sushi today! I was supposed to try it last year but never got around to it, so my mother surprised me with some before work. It's very good for raw fish.

I'm not dreading old age, I feel so much more 'me' every year, a little older, a years worth of experiences, it's a really amazing thing. Since some of you seem surprised or confused about how old I am, I'm curious. So... anyone wanna guess how old I am? ;)
