I hope you all had a wonderful time... I notice from my friends page a few of you made out like bandits :p c'mon, it's not the reason for christmas, but we all love presents!
My christmas was hectic as usual, but aside from the drama generated by a few family members it was a fantastic couple of days, though I'm more than a bit disappointed that I'm stuck at work today. I haven't missed boxing day dinner @ my aunts since I was born :(
I don't want to make this too long because no one will read it! I'll keep to the highlights :)
* We spent Christmas eve at my mother-in-law's, Roman's grandmother gave Ethan the most annoying toy EVER! I will elaborate on this later in another post... when we got home my sister was showing me
'The Annoying Thing Game' she bought for my oldest daughter Cheresa. I told her that it wasn't as bad as what Ethan got from his great grandmother, and there was no way she could top that because it was the most annoying and creepy toy in the world. Then she pulled out the 'coolest' (her words) toy that she bought for Ethan. Anyone want to take a guess at what it was? Clearly it is the most annoying toy in the world because I was right, she couldn't
top it.
* Christmas Day started at 6am after 3 hours of sleep. We used to have 29 people come here at 7 for christmas breakfast as was my grandparents tradition that we took over, but now we rent a hall for the whole day and have a breakfast/drop in/dinner plus a huge free 'silent auction' with some big prizes, this year the grand prizes were a flat screen 20' TV & a water cooler.
My 8 year old MARISSA won the TV!!! It was so cool! Last year I didn't win anything, so I got to pick from the rejects left on the table :p but this year I won a picnic backpack with wine glasses/plates & cutlery for 4 & a fishing rod...
good thing Marissa put her name in all the fishing lures & hooks because she thought they were pretty.
The whole day can be summed up as follows:
[2am drama]

This morning it looked like Chrismas threw up on our house. So after several hours of cleaning up the Christmas vomit, everyone went out for more dinner drama and I am stuck home at work.
Good times.
